The Glaciers golf course is an astonishingly beautiful design masterpiece by Arthur Hills. The architectural layout features dramatic landscape carved out by nature. Waterfalls, manicured squared tees, natural formations, sweeping elevations, lush fairways and roughs, well protected greens, and superb L-93 greens will give golfers 18 holes of pure pleasure with no lack of challenge. This unforgettable golfing experience provides visual impact and a challenge for all levels of golfers.
Arthur Hills puts a premium on long, accurate drives down the L-93 fairways. The small greens with undulating aprons and bunkers make The Glaciers course a shot-maker’s paradise. The five different sets of tee boxes appeal to a wide variety of skill levels.
The Glaciers golf course was upgraded in 2006 to continue challenging players and evolve with the changing game of golf. Arthur Hills was hired to completely reconstruct the course to improve play and continue to challenge players. The Glaciers received new fairways, mounding, and tee grass and gained nearly 200 yards; making the total yardage on this par 72 course 7,190 yards. The result is a better-looking, better-playing course for all levels of golfers.
The Glaciers golf course, established in 1993, ranks among the top of all experts’ lists. It is routinely ranked in the top ten courses on Metro Detroit.
